This memorial website was created to Honor & Remember our sonSpc. Daniel A. Fuentes age 19 who was born in New York on July 27, 1987 and KIA on April 6, 2007, Baghdad Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 28th Infantry Regiment, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1^stInfantry Division, deployed out of Fort Riley, KS.

Danny was a beloved son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, friend and father of a precious little boy whom he never met. Although Daniel had a great deal of responsibility at his job, his family was his number one priority. He was the type of person that put everyone before himself and would drop whatever he was doing if you needed him.

Daniel was easily pleased and simple pleasures made him happy. Daniel had a sense of humor that is unparalleled. He loved to laugh! “It’s all good,” he would say. Daniel had a deep love for God and his country.
